Review: Cowgirls and Angels (Movie)

My girls and I recently got a chance to screen the new movie: Cowgirls and Angels. I’m sorry I had not posted the review till now. However, on a positive note, you will not have to wait to watch it yourself! Cowgirls and Angels came out in theaters yesterday, Friday, May 25th!

This is another wonderful family movie! If you want to watch a family friendly, wonderfully inspirational, and simply delightful movie with your family…Β check this one out for sure.

My 10 year old daughter said she LOVES this movie. In her words she loves it because it shows courage (as the little girl in the movie – played by Bailee Madison– goes after a dream), shows that you should believe in yourself, and it’s sweet.

Without giving much away on the story line, the movie follows a little girl, who has never met her dad and want to go find him. Through her search for clues to find her dad, she learns about the “Sweetheart” horse riders and works hard to join them, thinking that if she gets in and learns the right tricks, her father will then “claim” her. She had learned that her father used to be a horse rider himself and she figures this might be the missing link that brings him back to her. As the movie goes, she find more than what she started out looking for!

If you don’t have plans or end up with some time to do something with the kiddos this weekend and you consider goes to the movies… why not consider a wholesome, encouraging, entertaining, and great movie with some great messages? Here’s a short trailer clip:
